Hello. I know and need to tell you about my family. First I guess I will talk about my mom since she is the one who looked into Judo because a customer from her store recommended it. Her name is Michelle Sobay. She was born and raised here in Wichita Falls, Texas My dad is Seyhan Sobay. He was born and raised in Turkey. He came to Wichita Falls, Texas about 26 or 27 years ago. They are both employed in the retail business.
My mom travels to the tournaments with me and we have been to several great cities and states together. My dad is not able to travel with us as much due to his work, yet he does make time for my Judo practices. I would like for him to travel more with my mom and me.
Finally there is my sister, Seda Sobay. She was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. She has graduated from college. She also does several forms of martial arts. She has a 2nd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. As of now she is studying Judo, as well as other martial art forms. She has competed in 6 Judo tournaments and has taken Gold in each of them. She is becoming an amazing Judo competitor!!
