I will be traveling this Saturday, October 15th to Oklahoma City for the 2011 Heartland Team Tournament. The Texoma team is not going. I am fighting with another group of Judo players. This is an unusual one because normally at Judo tournaments you are fighting just for your medal place. The team tournament will consist of 2 competion areas. There will be a regular junior tournament with team scoring, 5 men teams in senior men, 3 man teams in master men and 3 member teams (light, mid and heavy) in women’s senior and masters. I will be fighting in the men’s division. I look forward to this.
The last tournmant for this month will be held in Joseph, Texas. It will be on October the 22nd. It is a Jr. World’s benefit tournament. Unfortunately for the junior judo international competitors from the United States most trips are self-funded. The Texoma team will be going to this one. I will be fighting in both the Junior division and the Men’s novice division. I will let you know after each tournament how we do. Thank you for your support!!
